Shasta Biz logo Shasta Biz Connection
The County, the Cities and local agencies have teamed up to market business and economic development services in Shasta County.

Businesses currently operating here and those considering relocating a business to Shasta County have a new resource. It’s called www.shastabiz.com.

The site highlights the financial benefits of Shasta’s new Enterprise Zone, provides information to assist with site selection, and features services to help with business startup, expansion and vitalization.

Participating are the Cascade Small Business Development Center, Cities of Anderson, Redding and Shasta Lake, Shasta County, Smart, EDC, Shasta Builder’s Exchange, Shasta College, Superior California Economic Development and EDD.


Small Business Survey
Small Business California is a proactive, non-partisan business advocacy organization whose only agenda is the well being of California’s 1,137,584 small businesses.

Working for all small businesses for a better business environment, SB-Cal is responsive to the needs of small business owners. Annually they survey California businesses to set their agenda for the year, then they work hard on those issues.

    The HR Risk Wizard is a new tool from the California Chamber of Commerce, created "to help you review your human resource policies and practices to assess whether they are in compliance with state and federal labor law requirements."

    California Chamber members can access all the results by logging in to HR California first.

    Non-members can access some, but not all of the results. A free 30-day trial is available.
