We'll walk you through the steps of developing and publishing your own business website - and you'll get three months of website hosting and a domain name for one year - when you attend this workshop. This 4-hour workshop consists of two sessions - two hours each day. On the first day, you will be introduced to website design and the software you will be using and you will create and publish your business website's home page. Click here to view a sample home page layout. You will need the following: Be prepared to type in a description of your business, products and/or services. You can copy & paste from a MS Word document, if you wish. Bring one or two pictures (.jpg or .gif files only) on a floppy disk, CD or thumb drive. Digital camera photos are .jpg files. Think of a domain name for your website - jot down one or more, just in case your first choice is not available.

On the second day, the focus becomes adding to - and improving on - your new website. We'll make a copy of your published site and practice adding pages, links and graphics. You will learn how to copy, paste, and move items; and how to add tables, forms, and "Web Gems" (some really neat stuff). Once you have the "basics" in place, the rest is up to you.
