    Making and keeping a budget is hard work. Use the information in this workshop to help you plan and stay on a budget you can live with. Learn the latest on credit: pros, cons and scams. Also offered in this workshop are lots of helpful tips and strategies for reversing the situation of financial hardship due to a layoff, a medical situation, etc.

    This class is for those with very little or NO computer experience. Topics include: using the mouse, start menu, using an internet browsing program, printing information from a website, navigating the Smart website to find valuable information and links to sites like CalJOBS, Record Searchlight, local employer websites, etc.

    You will find out how to look at local jobs, what they pay, where to find them, which ones are best for you and how your existing skills fit in. You will look at employer sites that will tell you what jobs they have open now and what may be open in the future. AND MUCH MORE!


    Win Way Resume

    Join us for a self-help class on the WinWay Resume program to learn how to input a professional looking resume. You'll come away with at least a draft resume and enough knowledge to go in and edit what you have. Know what type of work you're looking for and have some typing (type at least 20 wpm) or computer skills. This makes the whole process easier and much quicker.
