What happens next after you apply? Our Workforce Skills Pool is the first place we look when seeking the right individual for a job opening. Once we find that your skill sects are a good match for our Skills Pool referral service: We will send you an email requesting an updated application and Right-to-Work documents. Once Smart receives these items, we will then place your resume in the Workforce Skills Pool for our job referral service. If we find that your resume looks like a good match for a job opening, a program advisor will contact you. You are then responsible for applying to this position if you are interested. The employer then decides if you do or do not meet the needs of the job order. If interested, the employer will contact you directly. Your application will remain on file for 90 days. After this 90-day period, your Workforce Skills Pool information will be inactivated. If you want to reactivate your Workforce Skills Pool application and resume you must reapply. Eligible for Referral Service The Smart Center's job-referral service requires everyone to register with the One-stop Center. If you are not currently registered, we will contact you via email to ask you to fill out, sign and return the application and provide a copy of your Right-to-Work documents. Upon receiving your signed application and Right-to-work documents we will then register you for this free job-referral service. AGREEMENT By submitting your resume to the Workforce Skills Pool you are authorizing Smart Business Resource Center (Smart) to make referrals to you; in some cases your resume may be directly submitted to prospective employers on your behalf. Through your submission, you agree to hold harmless and release Smart from any liability whatsoever as a result of this activity. Important!
