Shasta County’s Enterprise Zone Expanded

Shasta County’s Enterprise Zone has expanded – which means, good news for smaller businesses from Palo Cedro to Burney. EDC is working on incorporating the expansion street ranges into the existing street ranges. As soon as this information is updated and complete, it will be posted for business use.
Along with the expansion to the Enterprise Zone in Shasta County, previous talk from Capitol Hill in Sacramento about changing Enterprise Zone regulations are still in effect. Lobbying is still taking place in Sacramento for finalized modifications to be put into effect in the new bill, however no one knows when or if these changes will begin. Stay tuned to find out.
