Annual Job Fairs
In partnership with employers throughout the North State, The SMART Workforce Center hosts multiple job fairs in any given year. Job fairs provide job seekers and employers a unique opportunity to interact with each other. Right on the spot, employers can screen and schedule qualified applicants for interviews, collect resumes, hand out applications, answer any questions about the job and company, and much more. Our goal is to accommodate employers from a wide range of professional sectors, while also providing job seekers with the opportunity to network with recruiters. Our past events have been highly successful, attracting hundreds of job seekers. By providing a positive environment, we aim to give job seekers and employers the time and space to introduce themselves.
Occasionally, we host hiring fairs at our local county offices. These hiring fairs are specific to a company who is looking to hire multiple employees. Our offices allow for use of our classrooms, and board room to conduct interviews and discuss further employment opportunities.

These events are a great reason to update your resume and test out your interviewing skills. Be where the employers are hiring. What better place to find a job than right in front of the eyes of the employers who are currently seeking new hires. If you aren't sure what career path you're interested in pursuing, a job fair is a great environment to seek information on a plethora of job sectors all in one spot.
